How do I find my site code?

A site code is a locally generated key created by Robo-FTP to uniquely identify the PC on which it is installed. It is different for each PC on which Robo-FTP is installed.

How the site code is handled depends on the version of Robo-FTP you have.

In version 3.0 and later, the site code can be seen by generating a manual activation request.

With the v2.x versions, the handling of the site code is almost completely out of sight of the end-user.

On earlier versions the site code is displayed under the Help menu by clicking on Online Authorization... or Fax/E-mail Authorization...

Together with a serial number, this site code is used to obtain a site key. Entering this site key activates the Robo-FTP license.
