I see the following error message: Decrypt - File decrypted. Can't check signature: public key not found. Was the message actually decrypted?
The file was NOT completely and successfully decrypted because there's a problem with verifying the signature of the encrypted file -- a 'digital signature' is used to verify that the file has not been tampered with since it was encrypted by the originator of the file.
The key used to decrypt the file may be corrupted or the decryption cannot verify the signature based on the public key you received from the originator of the encrypted file. You shouldn't trust a decrypted file if you cannot verify the signature.
You should get the latest public key from the person who encrypted the file. The signature may be different from the one that you have on your key ring.
Another possible cause could be that the encrypted file was tampered with and you should request a new file from the originator of the file.
